I am already so proud of you for being here. Searching for a therapist can be anxiety-inducing
and daunting. You deserve to be recognized for taking the hardest step, seeking therapy. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy.
I enjoy working with adolescents, young/emerging adults, adults, and couples. While I enjoy working with all individuals, I have a special interest in working with those who are a part of the BIPOC and LGBTQ community. As well as those experiencing anxiety, depression, quarter-life crises, trauma, racial identity crises, and women’s issues.
My goal is to empower you and help delegate these undesirable feelings. As your therapist, I’ll hold onto these feelings. I will feel and acknowledge ALL of them, and ever so slowly. I will return those feelings, to start the process of healing. Helping you develop confidence in your abilities, to overcome any difficulties you are experiencing.
Therapy is all about meeting you where you are, and I will always work to see you in those places. I believe that individuals should be a part of their therapeutic journey. I take a client-centered approach to therapy. I utilize modalities from a Humanistic approach, integrated with Systemic therapy and Mindfulness. While therapy is important to explore the hard stuff, it can also be a fun experience too.
